Laws change and mistakes happen. When we find an error in a guide, or a reader reports one and we confirm it in the source, we correct the guide promptly, note the fix in that guide’s “What changed on this page” section and log it here.
How to report an error
Tell us which page, what you believe is wrong and, if you can, the statute, court opinion or agency notice that shows the correct rule. Reach us through the contact page.
What counts as a correction
- A wrong number, date, age, fine or penalty
- A rule described incorrectly or attributed to the wrong statute
- A law that has changed since the guide was last verified
Routine updates for new laws are recorded in each guide’s change log rather than here.
